SMP’s Review of Dolly Dimsum
I recently visited Dolly Dimsum, and it was a delightful experience. I always crave good dim sum, and Dolly Dimsum did not disappoint.
The Har Gao was fresh and packed with juicy prawns. The Siew Mai, with its tender chicken and prawn combination, was also a hit.
I tried the Roasted BBQ Bun, and the honey BBQ meat filling was delicious. The Signature Egg Custard Bun was a sweet surprise, with its flowing salted egg yolk caramel.
The Cheong Fun with Prawn was delicate and perfectly steamed. I also loved the Black Pepper Beef Puff, which had a flaky pastry and tender beef.
The Baked Egg Tart was a traditional treat, and it had the right amount of sweetness.
But the Sweet and Sour Beancurd Skin Roll wasn’t as flavorful as I hoped. It could have used a bit more seasoning.
Dolly Dimsum offers a great variety of dim sum. The food quality is high, while there were a few minor flaws, like the less flavorful Beancurd Skin Roll, the overall experience was very positive. I would definitely recommend Dolly Dimsum to anyone looking for a satisfying dim sum meal in Malaysia.
