SMP’s Review of Tokyo Shokudo

I recently visited Tokyo Shokudo, a delightful spot for ramen lovers in Singapore. As a local foodie, I was eager to try their variety of dishes and I was not disappointed.

I started with the Chicken Cha Shu Ramen, which was comforting and flavorful. The chicken was tender and the broth had a rich, deep taste.

Next, I tried the Seafood Ramen, which was packed with fresh seafood and had a lovely, briny flavor. The scallops and prawns were especially delicious.

The Yuzu Ramen stood out with its refreshing citrusy broth. The Chicken Cha Shu Yuzu Ramen was a perfect balance of flavors, light and tangy.

For something spicy, the Beef Shabu Spicy Ramen hit the spot. The beef was tender and the spicy broth had a nice kick without being overwhelming.

I also enjoyed their tempura. The Signature Tendon, with its crispy prawns, fish, and assorted vegetables, was a satisfying meal on its own. The Mixed Tempura Rice Set was equally good, with a nice variety of tempura pieces and a generous serving of rice.

To complement my meal, I had the Lychee Lemon Tea, which was refreshing and not too sweet. It paired well with the rich flavors of the ramen.

I found the Duck Ramen a bit of a letdown. The duck was a tad dry and lacked the flavor punch I was hoping for.

Tokyo Shokudo offers a fantastic variety of ramen and tempura. The flavors are spot-on, and the ambiance is cozy. It’s a great place to satisfy your ramen cravings.
